Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to players forming strong views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.
With numerous of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Several previous official descriptions mention their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.
Gemini – Super Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an constant fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully control,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to create a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for aliens.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.
Libra – Mega Audino
Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.
Scorpio – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can think of.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting aura is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's description says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
