Salah Extends Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has shared that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad following the controversy from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match after making accusations and claiming his connection to the head coach had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The head coach has previously declined to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “It's clear there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have been impressive in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the forward's comments were never meant to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, performing and starting to win games.”
