Regional authorities said the city came under significant strikes throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child died and three other people were hurt.

The assaults follow periods of aerial attacks in the area, parts of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated utility staff and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
