Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.

The World Series served as a bright spot in what has been a trying year for Los Angeles. An approximate quarter-million people showed up to the championship parade last year, and according to team member one athlete, supporters this year demonstrated equal or greater enthusiasm.
“I feel like it’s nearly twice from last year,” Freeman said. “The supporters are incredible. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
