The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
